Terms of Service

By creating a SendKudos account or a public creator page, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use SendKudos.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country, to create a creator account and receive payouts. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, including for identity verification (KYC) required to enable payouts.

You control the content on your public page — bio, links, and campaigns. You're responsible for that content and for making sure it doesn't violate these terms or the law. We may remove content or suspend a page that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, abusive, or illegal.

Fans send tips and back crowdfunding campaigns voluntarily; tips and campaign contributions are not refundable except where required by law or at our discretion in cases of fraud or error.

SendKudos charges a platform fee on transactions, shown on our pricing page. Payment processors we work with, such as Paystack, may charge their own processing fees on top of ours. Fees are deducted automatically before funds reach your balance.

Payouts are sent to the bank account or mobile money wallet you connect, once your identity verification is complete. We may delay or decline a payout if we suspect fraud, if verification is incomplete, or as required by our payment processors or applicable law.

You agree not to use SendKudos to:

• Solicit tips for illegal goods, services, or activity.
• Misrepresent who you are or impersonate someone else.
• Launder money or evade sanctions, tax, or reporting obligations.
• Attempt to circumvent our fees or manipulate tip and campaign totals.
• Interfere with or abuse the platform, including through automated means.

You can close your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Outstanding balances owed to you will still be paid out, subject to standard verification.

SendKudos is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep the platform reliable and secure but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, SendKudos isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or through the dashboard before they take effect.
