How to add SendKudos to Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Ghost and more

You do not need a plugin to put SendKudos on your website. Almost every website builder has a place to paste a small piece of HTML or an embed link, and that is all a SendKudos button needs. This guide shows where that place is in the most popular builders.

Step 1: Copy your snippet

  1. Log in to SendKudos and open Dashboard → Widgets.
  2. In the support section, choose your button text and colour.
  3. Copy the button HTML. It is a single link, so it works almost everywhere. Use the card HTML only if your builder allows embedded frames.
If you only want a link, you do not need any HTML. Add a normal button or text link to your page and point it at your SendKudos page, for example https://www.sendkudos.ng/yourname.

Wix

  1. Open your site in the Wix editor and click Add Elements (+).
  2. Choose Embed Code, then Embed HTML.
  3. Select Code, paste your snippet, and click Update.
  4. Resize the element to fit the button, then publish.

Squarespace

  1. Edit the page and add a block where you want the button.
  2. Choose the Code block.
  3. Paste your snippet and make sure Display Source is turned off.
  4. Save the page.

Code blocks may need a paid Squarespace plan. If you cannot find the block, use a normal button block linking to your SendKudos page instead.

Webflow

  1. Open the Add panel and drag an Embed element onto the page.
  2. Paste your snippet into the code box and click Save & Close.
  3. Publish the site.

Ghost

  1. In the post or page editor, click + to add a card.
  2. Choose the HTML card.
  3. Paste your snippet and publish.

Ghost is a good fit for writers and newsletters. Add the button at the end of each post, where readers are already thinking about thanking you.

Carrd

  1. Add a new element and choose Embed.
  2. Set the type to Code and paste your snippet.
  3. Publish the site.

Embed elements may need a paid Carrd plan. A plain Button element linking to your SendKudos page works on any plan.

Notion

Notion pages cannot run pasted HTML, so use a link instead. Type /button or add a text link, and point it at your SendKudos page. If you publish the page to the web, visitors can click through to support you.

Framer

  1. Open the Insert menu and add an Embed component.
  2. Set it to HTML and paste your snippet.
  3. Resize it and publish.

If the card does not show

Some builders block embedded frames from other websites. If the card does not appear, switch to the button snippet, or use a plain link. The button is a normal link, so it is accepted everywhere.

Menu names change as builders update their editors. If you cannot find an option, look for a block called Code, HTML or Embed, since that is what the snippet needs.
